There is a time and a place to make a difference - and the time is now for the Verde Island Passage (VIP). The VIP skirts five Philippine provinces: Batangas, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque. The VIP is the epicenter of marine biodiversity and evolution in the world, with over 1700 overlapping species in a 10 sq km area. Through our three pillars of Science, Education, and Advocacy, the SEA Institute will encourage conservation, preserving precious yet vulnerable marine resources within the VIP.
