alain1More than a decade of experience on policy research, project planning, development, management and monitoring and evaluation including resource mobilization covering areas such environment, ecotourism, women and development, biodiversity-friendly enterprises adopting competitiveness and inclusive growth frameworks using tools such as ecosystem-based adaptation approaches and value-chain analysis and documentation of best practices. Has done competitiveness projects in the Philippines and Greater Mekong Subregion under multilateral agencies such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB), USAID, World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, and conservation projects under institutions such as Conservation International Philippines, Asian Institute of Management, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Foundation for Philippine Environment, and Local Government Units, among others. Was part of the Philippine Delegation to the UNCLOS and Conference on Straddling Fish Stocks and Highly Migratory Fish Stocks in New York in 1994. A graduate from De La Salle University, University of Asia and the Pacific (Manila),University of Texas in Austin under UNITAR, Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand as US-ASEAN Scholar.
